any sign my barely conscious mind
deposits into your piggy bank
of Melrose things.

my bedroom wishing I had something
more distracting than your pom-pom dreams.

But what will we do when I'm out of tricks?

and I just smile.
Well what happens when you figure out
our story has an end?
